Addicted: Hi Alexei. How are you and how has your preparation for the Shock N Awe title been going?
Alexei: Whats going on addictedmma! always good to hear from you guys. Preparation is going well can't wait to fight back on shock N Awe, its always fun .
Addicted: This is one hell of a card to be co main eventing on Alexei, does it add any pressure to you?
Alexei: I fight my best under pressure and I love a challenge .
Addicted: You have been getting bag loads of success in your fights over the last year or so, what is Alexei Roberts big secret?
Alexei: No secret buddy it's all about the people around you. I have Michael McGarry from kyouken mma who is my instructor and manager, and my personal trainer Tommy Gentleman from reasons fitness as well.
Addicted: It seems with a big win here Alexei you could be looking at really making a storm on the UK welterweight rankings. Is this something you have been thinking about?
Alexei: Oh yes! Everyday, I want to be the best ,it's all I think about.
Addicted:You have a great ground game and it seems Andy does as well, you both also have heavy hands, are you thinking this fight will play out on the feet or on the mat?
Alexei: This can go any where! it will be a war wherever it goes.
Addicted: Do you have a message that you would like to send to Andy before the fight?
Alexei: See you Saturday.

And just like that Alexei snuck back into the night to finish his training and weight cut. The fights will be coming thick and fast down in Portsmouth this weekend. And Alexei and Andy will both meet in the centre of the cage. Both with the same mission, to take home the strap. Who wins, we will have to wait and see.
