Phil Else Vs. Scott Hunt Set For Shock N Awe 14.

Fight announcements for Shock N Awe are always an exciting time for AddictedMMA and with match ups like this it's no wonder. From the moment the doors closed on Shock n Awe 13 match-maker Brian Adams went straight into work on the 14th episode of arguably the fastest growing promotion in the UK.

Phil Else will be looking for redemption after getting caught early by Jay Furness in his last Shock n Awe outing. Powerful, intelligent and with a soul destroying wrestling background, Phil will stop at nothing to have his hand raised in front of the Portsmouth crowd again. But heading down to the Mountbatten Centre to take that scalp is one of the UK`s most exciting prospects, the highly popular Scott Hunt from Team CrossFace. Scott is a young fighter that has a habit of stunning his opponents on the feet and then finishing them on the mat and it is always entertaining.

Both guys are similar ages, similar sizes have similar records and are both very well rounded fighters. Both have also garnered big followings and this is simply a must see fight.

Let's check out the info on both guys and get their thoughts on the fight that goes down on the 27th of July.

"I'm looking forward to fighting Phil Else as I had to pull out last time due to a broken elbow, it will be my biggest test to date and I've wanted this fight for quite long! He's a great wrestler and likes to grind people down, but I will not give up, looks like it will defiantly be a crowd pleaser".

"Shock N Awe is always a great promotion to work with and I'm really pleased to be back on the card for the 14th event.
This is a fight that has been on the cards for quite some time and was then finally scheduled for last November. Scott was injured in another fight just two weeks before he was due to challenge me for the KAYO Featherweight title. As with all my fights, I do spend a lot of time setting out a specific game plan for my opponents and I'd already done my homework so I'm looking forward to getting to implement it this time.
I've changed things up a lot since my last fight and Scott is going to see a far stronger and more aggressive opponent than perhaps he is expecting. Equally, Scott has never had a boring fight and I'm expecting him to come out hard and fast from the off but I'm ready for that"

We also caught up with match-maker and promoter Brian Adam`s, this is what he had to say:

Well after the last event Phil asked me to find him a tough opponent to fight and in Team Crossface`s Scott Hunt I`ve more than found him one.
I`ve seen footage on Scott and he is a very exciting fighter, unbeaten and trains under UFC vet Dave Lee who is a submission wizard.
Will Phil Else`s wrestling be able to see him give Scott Hunt his first loss or will Scott Hunt`s slick striking see him make a statement in the U145lbs division.
