Hector Lombard to Debut Against Brian Stann

The man people have long wanted to see fight in the UFC finally gets his chance, and now, his opponent has been named.

Hector Lombard is reported to be facing Brian Stann for his debut match in the UFC, according to a tweet from UFC President Dana White:

While no date or venue has been announced as of yet, this is a tough challenge for both men.

Lombard, 31-2-1-1, has not lost since November 5, 2006, to Gegard Mousasi, and comes to the UFC as the former Bellator middleweight champion.

Stann, 12-4, is coming off of an impressive first round knockout of Alessio Sakara this past April, following his UFC 136 loss to Chael Sonnen.
