Dennis Siver vs. Eddie Yagin Booked For UFC 151

A heavy hitting featherweigt bout has been added to UFC 151, as German kickboxer Dennis Siver will square off with Canadian conquerer Eddie Yagin, when the UFC roles into Las Vegas, Nevada.

33 year old Dennis Siver (20-8) will be making his fifteenth appearance when he steps into the Octagon against Yagin. Siver spent the majority of his UFC career in the 155lb lightweight division, amassing an 8-5 record, picking up wins over George Sotiropoulos and Matt Wiman. A loss to Donald Cerrone at UFC 137 convinced Siver to make a run at 145lbs, and so far so good, as he picked up a divisional debut win over Diego Nunes at UFC on FUEL TV 2.

33 year old Eddie "The Filipino Phenom" Yagin (16-5-1) is a former Taachi Palace Fights featherweight champion. He recently scored the biggest win of his career, when he earned a hard fought split decision over Canadian Mark "The Machine" Hominick at UFC 145. The victory took Yagin to 1-1 in the UFC.

UFC 151 takes place Saturday, September 1st, 2012, and will feature a main event pitting Jon Jones vs. Dan Henderson for the UFC Light Heavyweight title.
