Bibiano Fernandes Forced Out Of UFC 149 With Injury

That's right Addicts, more bad news. as MMA Weekly.com is reporting that UFC's newest Bantamweight signing, Bibiano "The Flash" Fernandes, has been forced out of his UFC 149 bout with Roland Delorme, after suffering an injury in training.

The 32 year old Brazilian is a former DREAM Featherweight and Bantamweight champion, having earned each title as a result of winning the respective 145lb and 135lb grand prix. During his time with the now defunct Japanese promotion, Fernandes scored wins over Masakazu Iminari, Joe Warren, Joachim Hansen and Antonio Banuelos.

Fernandes is the latest in a long line of injury casualties for this event, with Thiago Silva, Jose Aldo and Michael Bisping also pulling out.

The injury means that Roland Delorme is currently left without an opponent for the July 21st event. Stay Addicted for any news regarding a replacement.
