Dustin Pague In Two Week Turnaround, Faces Ken Stone At UFC on FX 4

There is no quicker way to the top of the division then to be a company man for the UFC. You may remember back in 2010, Middleweight slugger Chris Leben rattled off back to back wins over Aaron Simpson and Yoshihiro Akiyama, the most impressive thing is that he did it in just two weeks. This put Leben in favour with the bosses and earned him two co-main events (UFC 125 / UFC 132) and a headline bout at UFC 138.

Anyting Leben can do, Dustin Pague can do as well. And do it he will, as Pague has agreed to step in on short notice to fight Ken Stone at UFC on FX 4, which takes place Friday, June 22nd.....just two weeks after competing at UFC on FX 3.

24 year old Dustin "The Disciple" Pague (11-5) was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter season 14, making it to the semi-finals before losing to TJ Dillashaw. Despite the defeat, Pague got a chance with the promo, and lost his official debut to John Albert via TKO in just 70 seconds. The Pennsylvania native bounced back in his second bout, scoring a first round submission over Jared Papazian at UFC on FX 3.

American Top Team's Ken Stone (10-3) was one of the fighters who came over to the UFC as part of the WEC merger. Stone lost his only fight in WEC after being slammed by Eddie Wineland. Stone also lost his UFC debut, being knocked out by Scott Jorgensen at the TUF 13 finale. Finally, Stone scored his first win under the ZUFFA banner, when he choked out Donny Walker at UFC Fight Night 25, back in September 2011.
