Kyle Noke Drops To Welterweight, Faces Charlie Brenneman At UFC 151
Former Ultimate FIghter contestant Kyle Noke has decided to make the drop to the 170lb welterweight division, and will face Charlie Brenneman at UFC 151, which takes place September 1st, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada.32 year old Australian Kyle "KO" Noke (19-6-1) is a well traveled middleweight, a former champion of the XFC, and has notched notable wins over Brian Ebersole, Chris Camozzi and George Sotiropoulos. Since making his way to the UFC via TUF, Noke has strung together a 3-2 record, but is currently on the first two fight losing streak of his career.
31 year old former school teacher Charlie "The Spaniard" Brenneman (15-4) really made his name in the UFC by entering the Octagon with one days notice and defeating the hot streaked Rick Story back in June 2011. The talented welterweight is 4-3 under the UFC, and is coming off a submission loss to hotly tipped prospect Erick Silva at UFC on FX: McCall vs. Johnson.
UFC 151 will feature a UFC light heavyweight title main event between Jon "Bones" Jones and Dan Henderson.
